Ms Tan Cheng Cheng studied Chinese Brush Painting and Calligraphy since 1979 under several prominent artists and has since integrated both Chinese and Western Art into her works.

In the Spring of 2014, Ms Tan Cheng Cheng held an exhibition of her captivating portrayal of Orchids - which represented an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the artist. In a meticulous blend of vivid tones and intricate watercolour florals, the artist presents a journey through her garden of flowers.

COMMEMORATING NS50 THROUGH ART

National Service (NS) has anchored our nation’s peace and security since its introduction in 1967. To commemorate 50 years of NS (NS50), the Singapore Art Society launched the “Commemorating NS50 Through Art” initiative at the ION Art Gallery.
